GYNECOLOGICAL EXAMINATION
The Gynecological Examination assesses the normal condition of the female genital organs (both internal and external), excluding the presence of gynecological conditions in women who are not pregnant.
GYNECOLOGICAL ULTRASOUND
Gynecological (Pelvic) Ultrasound is a valuable diagnostic tool to complement the gynecological examination. It is an ultrasound exam used to evaluate the uterus and ovaries in non-pregnant women. It allows visualization of the pelvic organs (uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, bladder) and helps detect any potential uterine conditions.
PAP TEST
The Pap test, or Papanicolaou test, commonly known as a "Pap smear," is an important screening test for women's health. Its purpose is to identify women at risk of developing cervical cancer in the future. The Pap test detects precancerous lesions (CIN, dysplasias) and very small cervical tumors, often asymptomatic, that could progress to malignant forms.
OBSTETRIC EXAMINATION
The obstetric examination is a thorough assessment performed monthly from the early weeks of pregnancy to monitor the clinical progress of the pregnancy and the well-being of the unborn child.
OBSTETRIC ULTRASOUND
This is a safe, painless, and non-invasive exam that allows visualization of the fetus on a monitor using a high-frequency sound wave probe placed on the mother's abdomen.
